A must when visiting London: The Wallace Collection

I find this to be one of the most underrated museums in London, it’s nestled in Manchester Square where Hertford House sits. This is the former residence of the Seymour family also known as the Marquesses of Hertford.

This museum lends its name to Sir Richard Wallace, who is responsible for building the extensive collection, alongside the Marquesses of Hertford, in the 18th and 19th centuries.

The Wallace Collection houses a wonderful collection of fine and decorative arts spanning the 15th to the 19th century. It is also the name of a Belgian band most known for their world hit called ‘Daydream’.
